Friday, April 28

Pitzer in the Pool
Noon–3 p.m.
Gold Student Center Pool
Join current students for some grilling and chilling! Hosted by PAct, we’ll be kicking off the weekend with a heaping helping of vitamin D.

2017 Senior Thesis Art Exhibition
Noon–5 p.m.
Nichols Gallery and Lenzner Family Art Gallery
Take a stroll through Pitzer’s art galleries and peruse the works of our current seniors.

Registration and Alumni Lounge
Noon–5 p.m.
Broad Center Performance Space
Pick up your registration materials, shop for Pitzer swag and enjoy light refreshments.

Sagehen Athletics Reception
3:30–5 p.m.
Gold Student Center Multipurpose Room
Pitzer and Pomona alumni-athletes are invited to meet with current student-athletes to share stories about how athletic participation enhanced their lives after college.

Study Abroad Reception featuring Director of Pitzer in Italy Franca Mora
4–6 p.m.
West Hall Courtyard
Gather with world travelers from across the years to celebrate all of Pitzer’s outstanding study abroad opportunities. This reception will include a special commemoration for the 25th anniversary of the Pitzer in Italy program.

Scripps College 3C Wine Tasting

Scripps College, Elm Tree Lawn
Enjoy rollicking reds and whimsical whites while mingling with fellow alumni from Scripps and Harvey Mudd.

Fulbright Reception
5–6:30 p.m.
The Home of Nigel Boyle, Claremont, CA
Interim Dean of Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs Nigel Boyle will once again open his home to Fulbright alumni to greet the newest class of recipients and raise a glass to the 200+ Pitzer scholars who have earned this prestigious award.

Rise and Shine Yoga

Greet the day with some mindful stretching and sun-soaking poses. Mats provided. Space is limited, registration required.

Mimosas and a Meander Down Memory Lane
9–11 a.m.
Skandera Hall Lobby and Pitzer Archive Conference Center
Start the morning off right with a mimosa bar and DIY donuts. If sprinkles and glaze and bacon bits aren’t enough, we’ll be unfurling our Alumni Reunion Memory Book and touring a special display put together by Pitzer Archivist Stacy Elliott.

OBSA Open House Brunch

Pitzer’s Latinx Student Union (LSU) 10th Annual Rockabilly Festival
11 a.m.–11 p.m.
The Mounds and McConnell Center Apron
Celebrating ten years, the festival features a car exhibition, food trucks, arts and crafts, vendors and, of course, live music! The festival has been extended into the evening and will include musicians from a wide range of genres that encompass the diverse identities of the Latinx community.

Claremont in Entertainment and Media (CEM) Panel and Mixer

CEM is celebrating its tenth year by hosting an engaging panel of alumni in the entertainment and media industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to network with alumni from across the 5Cs and hear about their successes and failures in the industry. The panel’s focus this year will be the evolving digital media landscape.

Brewmasters Dave Bolinger ’11 and Anna Alquitela ’15 will join forces to tantalize the taste buds and oblige the olfactory senses with this year’s batch of exquisite craft brew.

Alumni Celebration Dinner with President Melvin L. Oliver

Join President Oliver and Suzanne Oliver as we celebrate our amazing and unique alumni and honor our Distinguished Alumni and Young Alumni Achievement Award recipients. We’ll be sampling a feast of Latin American food while recognizing our current Student Leadership Award winners and cheering on our milestone alumni. It promises to be a fantastic evening!

Alumni Association Open Meeting
9–10 a.m.
Broad Center Performance Space
All alumni are welcome to attend this annual open meeting chaired by Alumni Board President Brian Christiansen ’93. The breakfast buffet will open for attendees at 8:30 a.m.
