Pitzer’s Young Alumni Community is a network for Pitzer graduates of the last ten years. The program serves as a resource to enhance the educational, cultural, social and professional lives of young alumni. The Office of Alumni Relations is here to help you maintain a connection between the alumni community and the College.
Welcome to the Pitzer College Young Alumni Community!
I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your time at Pitzer and how it has shaped you.
Think about the graduating classes that came before you and the ones that will come after you. Think about the people behind your favorite Pitzer experiences—from eating Grove House sandwiches and cookies to lounging in the hammocks on the Mounds, or taking that really cool class that taught you that the world is not quite as heteronormative as it may seem. Your Pitzer experience, in part because of the community, students, faculty, staff and administration, is truly unique, something no other college can replicate, and it wouldn’t be possible without support from our stellar group of alumni, which now includes you!
As you move on with the next steps of your life, take Pitzer’s Core Values of Social Responsibility, Environmental Sustainability, Student Engagement, Interdisciplinary Learning and Intercultural Understanding and apply them to everything you do, and then come back to Pitzer to inspire students to transform the world. Pitzer cannot move forward in bringing about positive changes in our world if people like you don’t stay involved.
I want to take this opportunity to officially welcome you into the Pitzer College Alumni Association! If you end up in the Bay Area, hit me up! Now that you’re a Pitzer alum, orange you glad you came to Pitzer?
With Much Elation,
Mitchell Felton ’13
Alumni Board Member
