Be a part of Pitzer history. Join us for our year-long 50th Anniversary party.

The fun began in the High Sierras where President Laura Skandera Trombley and a group of Pitzer family, faculty and students hiked the spectacular John Muir Trail and scaled the tallest mountain in the continental US to celebrate the great California outdoors the Pitzer way – sustainably and together with friends!

The good times continue throughout the year – including new interactive features on the College website, art exhibits, lectures and panel discussions, a family-friendly bicycle ride from campus to the beach, a visit by the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (its first-ever visit west of the Mississippi River), historical photography displays, the Kohoutek music festival and much more.

Pitzer is more socially, intellectually, environmentally, sustainably and artistically engaged than ever before in its 50-year history. Join the fun – attend a lecture, listen to a concert, view an exhibition, come to a picnic, ride your bicycle across Los Angeles with Pitzer friends, enjoy new campus improvements, experience Pitzer passion in scores of activities scheduled all year in the run-up to the grand Orange and White Ball next May.
