Theresa Williamson, Catalytic Communities

Theresa Williamson is an urban planner and outspoken and respected advocate of Rio de Janeiro’s favelas in the face of current fast-paced transformations. She is the founder and executive director of Catalytic Communities, an organization based in Rio de Janeiro that works to promote a more creative, inclusive and empowering integration between the city’s informal and formal communities.
