David Chan is the author of Goblin Fruit: Stories, a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction. He has been awarded writing fellowships from Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, and the Norman Mailer Writers Colony. Chan has served as the Clayton B. Ofstad Endowed Chair Writer-in-Residence
