Why I’m a Mentor: To make the transition from high school to college easier for first year’s since I know it can be scary!

Extracurricular activities: Creative Writer’s Guild President, but also involved in Student Senate, M.A.G.E. (Manga, Anime, Gaming, and Entertainment) Club, and Terracycle Club.
What I love about Pitzer: The diversity of classes and resources, along with the ability to get to know professors and speak to them outside of class.
Why I’m a Mentor: I am a mentor because I want to help incoming students find the best ways to get through worrisome responsibilities as quickly and efficient as possible. After doing so, they may get involved on campus and enjoy their first year to the best of their abilities.
One thing every resident should know about Pitzer: We have chickens in a coop near Mead and they sleep in a tree! It is so cool!

What I love about Pitzer: I love how passionate we are about what we do.  The students at Pitzer actually care about making a difference and changing the world.
Why I’m a Mentor: Freshman year of college is a big change for most people.  Especially since you’ll be living away from home, it’s important to have a supportive student family to help ensure you have an awesome first year of college.
One thing every resident should know about Pitzer: Most people at Pitzer are not mean! We are actually really nice. Seriously! So never been afraid to ask another student for assistance or advice, they’re going to be more than happy to help you!
